We all know how much time and effort has to be put into compulsory continuing professional development (CPD) points each year for medical professionals.
North Shore Derrmatology are in the planning stages of creating educational online modules for medical professionals to access relevant and informative material which can be a put towards participants CPD as well as teaching and updating participants in various relevant areas of dermatology. This will be specifically tailored to GPs but will also be relevant to other allied health professionals
Our team will be creating audiovisual modules of common dermatological conditions focussing on diagnosis and management. This will improve the care you can deliver to your patient as well as contributing to your CPD requirements . You will be able to package the modules into the topics relevant to you and potentially create your own personal conference which you can use wherever and whenever it suits you.
We are also in the planning stages of organising live conferences at various locations. Medical professionals will be able to educate themselves in stimulating locations which may also be of interest, allowing networking and having personal interaction with various specialised speakers . Some locations currently under consideration and requiring development and trialing are European sites such as Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Iceland as well as other African and South American venues. We are researching and developing these as potential sites currently and will post updates for interested participants in due course
Conferences will also have a component of non clinical education. This is still relevant to CPD points aquisition. Personal wellness, practice management, work -life balance and transitioning to retirement are likely areas to be included. We will also offer modules on financial planning, investing and property investment that may be of interest to some.
