Tanya graduated from the University of Tasmania with honours in 1993. Her intern and resident years were at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney. Following this she completed a Masters of Science in Medicine at St Vincents Hospital Sydney. Her dermatology training was at Royal North Shore Hospital, Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge UK, Prince of Wales Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital. She completed her fellowship from the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2001. In 2003 she undertook a Fellowship in Mohs' Micrographic Surgery at the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia. She worked for many years as a Dermatologist & performed Moh's surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital and currently performing Mohs' surgery at the Skin Hospital, Crown St, Darlinghurst. Her special interest is in the surgical management of recurrent or difficult skin cancers.
Mike graduated from the UNSW in 1989 with Honours. His junior medical training was at Royal North Shore Hospital. He then worked for a number of years in Emergency at Mona Vale Hospital. He then started his dermatology training and attended Westmead Hospital, Newcastle Hospital, St Vincent's Hospital, Skin and Cancer Foundation and finally Prince of Wales Hospital to complete his training. He finished his training in 2000. He then worked in various private practices and as a specialist at St Vincent's Hospital for 10 years. He is still involved in training of dermatologists and educating local GPs. He also works at Eastern Suburbs Dermatology at Bondi Junction
In 1988 Maria completed her Medical degree with honours at the University Autonoma of Madrid. She became a Dermatologist in the Hospital de La Princesa of Madrid in 1992.
She worked as a Dermatologist in Spain for more than a decade and she moved to Australia and became a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2008. She works in private practice in Manly. She is a Senior Clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney, and is a Staff Specialist in Westmead Hospital (where she is in charge of 3 clinics; Dermatology and Organ Transplants, High Risk Melanoma and Oncodermatology. Her special interests are skin cancer and womens dermatology
All doctors treat general dermatological problems like acne, psoriasis, dermatitis and other skin conditions. They also all deal with skin checking and skin cancer management. They also all do armpit hyperhidrosis treatment. All doctors see school aged children.
Dr Gilmour has had further specialised training in lasers and complex skin cancer management involving a special type of intervention called Mohs Surgery.
